Spinning Top

Spinning Top (陀羅) is one of the six primary Auxiliary Stars, classified as a minor malevolent star. It represents hidden, persistent, internal, and circular energy. Its nature is that of obstruction, entanglement, delay, and repetition. In classical texts, it is often paired with and contrasted with its counterpart, Great Void (大空), to represent complex cycles of fate. Where Great Void represents sudden loss and emptiness, Spinning Top symbolizes lingering difficulties and setbacks that spin around a person like a relentless vortex, requiring sustained effort to overcome.

In career, Spinning Top can manifest as bureaucratic delays, projects stuck in loops, or persistent office conflicts that hinder progress. Regarding wealth, it suggests income that is difficult to obtain or assets entangled in complex legal or familial disputes, requiring long-term resolution.
